Two Past Break-Ins Reported to Sharon Police Last Week

Here are the highlights of the Sharon Police log.

 

Sharon Police are investigating two reported break-ins from the past week.

The incidents were reported at 7:11 p.m. Monday, April 2, on Nathaniel Guild Road; and at 5:19 p.m. Saturday, April 7, on Walpole Street, according to the Sharon Police log.

An incident reported at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, on Iron Hollow Road as a past house break was actually a case of the owner misplacing jewelry, police said.

Earlier Saturday, at 1:18 p.m., someone on Madison Avenue reported that someone went through motor vehicles overnight.

On Sunday, April 1 at 5:03 p.m., someone on Belcher Street reported youths were attempting to egg a house.

On Monday, April 2 at 8:25 a.m., someone on Old Post Road reported a larceny.

At 8:48 a.m., someone on Bullard Street reported a black Lexus struck a pedestrian and then left the scene.

On Tuesday, April 3 at 4:14 p.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries at North Main at Maskwonicut streets.

At 8:24 p.m., someone reported a large bonfire on Kennedy Road. Police assisted the fire department.

At 11:08 p.m., someone on Samoset Lane reported a bat in their bedroom.

On Wednesday, April 4 at 12:04 a.m., someone on Heather Way reported loud music coming from the area.

At 8:25 p.m., police helped the fire department with a reported outside fire on Bayberry Drive.

At 8:40 p.m., someone on Francis Road reported tire tracks on their front lawn.

At 11:08 p.m., someone complained about a barking dog at Essex Road at Garden Street.

On Thursday, April 5 at 8:40 a.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries on Route 1. No report was filed.

At 1:53 p.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident with property damage at Bay Road at Belcher Street. The crash brought wires down. The fire department notified NSTAR.

At 3:53 p.m., someone on Chessman Drive reported their vehicle was egged overnight.

At 6:12 p.m., someone on Castle Drive reported a window broken by a beer bottle.

On Friday, April 6 at 8:22 a.m., someone reported a vehicle parked in a dangerous spot at Dedham Street at Edge Hill Road.

At 10:49 p.m., someone reported blowing a tire at a construction site at Massapoag Avenue at Morse Street.

On Saturday, April 7 at 9:28 a.m., someone in Post Office Square reported identity theft.

At 4:38 p.m., someone on Willow Street reported a green motor vehicle drag racing.

At 4:56 p.m., someone on East Street reported a raccoon on a porch.

At 9:42 p.m., someone on Williams Road reported that four motor vehicles were egged by individuals in a large tan sport-utility vehicle.
