Pocketbook Allegedly Taken From Vehicle At Borderland

Here are the highlights of the Sharon Police log.

 

Sharon Police say someone allegedly smashed a motor vehicle's window and took a pocketbook at Borderland State Park.

The incident was reported at 4:16 p.m. last Friday, Dec. 23.

On Sunday, Dec. 18 at 11:50 a.m., someone reported a utility pole at Billings at East streets was leaning.

At 4:35 p.m., someone reported a large patch of ice at Canton Street at Richards Avenue.

On Monday, Dec. 19 at 11:32 a.m., someone reported a hit-and-run accident at South Main Street at Shaw's Plaza.

On Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 7:52 a.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Mountain Street.

At 7:27 p.m., Walpole Police reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Route 1. No report was filed.

On Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 12:33 p.m., someone reported a minor motor vehicle accident at Cobb's Corner at North Main Street.

On Thursday, Dec. 22 at 11:57 a.m., someone on Brook Road reported receiving a suspicious phone call.

At 1:24 p.m., police notified the utility company of wires down at Francis Road at Berkshire Avenue.

At 4:35 p.m., someone reported a minor motor vehicle accident on South Main Street. No report was filed.

At 5:45 p.m., someone reported a minor motor vehicle accident in a  South Main Street parking lot. No report was filed.

At 7:58 p.m., someone on Route 1 reported a motor vehicle's windows were broken and that a computer was taken.

On Friday, Dec. 23 at 12:44 p.m., someone reported finding a credit card on Beach Street.

At 1:01 p.m., someone on Route 1 reported an unwanted guest.

At 2:07 p.m., police arrested an adult at Wilshire at West Ridge drives.

At 4:49 p.m., someone reported vandalism to a mailbox on Moose Hill Street.

At 11:16 p.m., police helped a citizen locate their lost iPhone at Lake Avenue at East Foxboro Street.

On Saturday, Dec. 24 at 2:54 a.m., police responded to Mansfield Street for a report of a car on the rocks and a girl beside it. Police arrested someone for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

At 9:31 a.m., someone reported an abandoned bicycle on the sidewalk on Paul Revere Road.

At 6:53 p.m., someone reported a minor motor vehicle accident at Route 1 at Pine Street. No report was filed.

At 8:35 p.m., someone reported a motor vehicle on its roof on Glendale Road, and occupants injured.
