Two Break-Ins Reported to Sharon Police Last Week

Here are the highlights of the Sharon Police log.

 

Sharon Police are investigating two break-ins reported last week.

At 2:19 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, police received an E-911 call about a past break-in on Mansfield Street, according to the Sharon Police log.

At 7:29 p.m. Friday, July 20, someone reported a past break-in on Old Wolomolopoag Street.

Here are the other highlights of the Sharon Police log for July 15 to July 21, courtesy of the Sharon Police Department:

On Sunday, July 15 at 12:39 a.m., someone on Pond Street reported yelling.

At 1:23 a.m., someone on Cannon Ball Road registered a noise complaint.

At 10:11 a.m., an officer spoke with someone about hang-up phone calls.

At 10:20 a.m., someone reported a motor vehicle nearly struck a bicycle at Franklin Road at Massapoag Avenue.

At 4:44 p.m., someone on Route 1 reported a larceny from a motor vehicle in a parking lot.

At 8:57 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a report of a gasoline odor in a Barefoot Hill Road house.

On Monday, July 16 at 10:45 a.m., police notified the utility company of wires down across Moose Hill Street.

At 2:34 p.m., someone reported finding a trailer license plate.

At 6:28 p.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident with property damage only at Beach at Gunhouse streets.

On Tuesday, July 17 at 11:34 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a reported fire at the end of a Moose Hill Street driveway.

At 12:18 p.m., someone on Deerfield Road reported vandalism to a greenhouse.

At 12:22 p.m., someone on Pond Street reported a pan handler asking for money.

At 1:13 p.m., someone reported a dog was locked in a motor vehicle.

At 5:40 p.m., someone reported a cone in the middle of the road at Ames at Pond streets.

On Wednesday, July 18 at 8:25 a.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident with no property damage at Moose Hill at Walpole streets.

At 10:55 a.m., someone reported identity theft.

At 4:51 p.m., police notified the Department of Public Works of barrels needed for wet cement at Pond at East Chestnut streets.

At 5:08 p.m., someone reported losing their wallet on a train.

At 7:14 p.m., someone reported youths with a fire extinguisher.

At 8:49 p.m., someone on Brook Road reported the larceny of a ring from their house.

On Thursday, July 19 at 9:30 a.m., someone on Cedar Street reported the larceny of pain medications.

At 1:32 p.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident with property damage only.

At 4:11 p.m., someone reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries at Route 1 at Old Post Road.

At 4:17 p.m., someone on Pond Street reported youths were asking customers to buy cigarettes.

On Friday, July 20 at 1:14 a.m., someone on Wilshire Drive reported finding a skateboard in back of the school.

At 7:57 a.m., someone reported a motor vehicle struck a deer at Bay Road at Chessman Drive.

At 8:39 a.m., police assisted the fire department with a strong odor of gas at South Main at Walpole streets.

At 5:22 p.m., someone reported finding keys at Massapoag Avenue at Morse Street.

At 6:05 p.m., someone reported finding a purple Zephyr bicycle on Depot Street.

At 6:25 p.m., someone reported a pothole on Walpole at Henry streets.

On Saturday, July 21 at 9:05 a.m., someone reported finding a license plate on the side of the road at East Foxboro Street at Lake Avenue.

At 1:43 p.m., Walpole Police reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Route 1.

At 2:28 p.m., police assisted the fire department with a fire in the woods on Sentry Hill Road.

At 7:24 p.m., someone reported the larceny of a bicycle.
