New Pastor Joining Sharon's First Congregational Church

A new pastor will lead the First Congregational Church of Sharon starting next month.

The Rev. Steven Alspach will preach here for the first time on Aug. 19, according to the church's website.

Alspach has served nine churches as interim minister, according to the biography on the website.

He will be the 24th pastor in the First Congregational Church of Sharon's 191-year history, the biography says.

The Rev. Helen Nablo has served as interim pastor. Her last Sunday with the Sharon church is July 29, the website says.
