PHOTOS: Moose Hill Halloween Prowl Celebrates 30th Year
Dark lit trails with Jack o Lanterns and characters in costume lined the prowl this year.
Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary's 'Halloween Prowl', in its 30th year, took place on Friday, Oct. 26, and runs through Sunday.
The magical adventure started at the mansion. Patrons followed a path of candle lit jack-o-lanterns and were greeted along the way by different characters dressed in costumes. There was a chipmunk, a crow, a witch, a druid and another character dressed as a mosquito. Each told how they fit into our world.
Before attendees returned to the main mansion, they came to a barn where there were more than 100 carved pumpkins that were lit up.
At the end of the adventure, patrons were greeted back at the main house and picked from an assortment of treats with hot cocoa and a blazing camp fire outside.
It was not only educational, but extremely entertaining. Here are some photos from the event.
