Moose Hill Director to Address Sharon Historical Society Tonight

Christine Turnbull will speak with members at the Society's quarterly meeting.

The following was submitted by Jean Zaniewski, Vice President Sharon Historical Society.

At 7:30 pm Thursday evening, Sept. 13, Christine Turnbull, director of Sharon's Moose Hill Audubon Sanctuary, will address members of the Sharon Historical Society and any other interested persons at the Society's quarterly meeting.

Christine will speak regarding the Sanctuary's unique history. Did you know that Moose Hill Sanctuary was the very first land purchase of the Audubon Society, almost exactly 90 years ago? How did it grow to its current size? What lies in its future?

This interesting talk will be held at the Sharon Historical Society at 16 High St. in Sharon.

Those interested should arrive at 7 p.m. to learn a little more about Sharon's wonderful Historical Society, and stay on to hear Christine's talk. Or, just come at 7:30 to hear the Moose Hill Talk.

Admission is free and light refreshments will be provided. Newcomers and potential volunteers are especially welcomed. More information about the Society is on its webpage sharonhistoricalsociety.org.
