Sharon Ranks #25 in State for Real Estate Taxes Paid Last Year
Sharon taxpayers paid an average of $8,310 in real estate taxes last year, while Weston taxpayers paid the most at $16,643 and Hancock paid the least at $759.
Sharon taxpayers paid an average of $8,310 in real estate taxes during fiscal year 2012, according to data recently released by the Department of Revenue.
According to the Commonwealth’s 351 cities and towns, Sharon ranks Number 25 on the list of towns that pay the highest real estate taxes in 2012 with Weston paying the highest at $16,643 and Hancock (home of Hancock Shaker Village, population 721) paying the least at $759.
