Democrats say Romney was bad for the Bay State.

CHARLOTTE — State Auditor Suzanne Bump vouched for President Barack Obama's record on jobs while jabbing at former Gov. Mitt Romney's job-creation credentials during an appearance Monday at the Democratic National Convention.

"Mitt Romney talked about his focus being on jobs … the reality is that he was not a job creator when he was in Massachusetts," said Bump at a Massachusetts delegation breakfast. "He used the same tired strategies of Republicans before him."

Criticism for Romney, who governed the state from 2003 to 2007, was plentiful at the morning event.

"We try to block out those dark years," said Chairman John Walsh. "But you have a responsibility to tell people about Mitt Romney."

Walsh contends the Bay State ranked 47th in job growth during Romney's tenure.

"He says he's good at job creation … The only evidence he provided (during his acceptance speech) is that he looks good in a suit," Walsh said.

The party chairman encouraged delegates to travel to New Hampshire, considered a battleground state in November, to tell voters there about Romney's record.

Speakers on Tuesday also rallied Democrats to support Elizabeth Warren, the Democrat challenging U.S. Senator Scott Brown's bid for a second term.

Could you please, please focus on Sharon-related news here? I don't need any more political or general news coverage, I can get that in many other places if I want it. What I can't easily get but do want is news of what's happening here. If this keeps up, there will be no real need to check this site, if it offers what I get elsewhere but not what I do want.

When you repeat political comments without verification of the facts you become
a bias political media. Romney reduced it to 28.. almost half of what he came in with.
