Lerner, Taube Key Players for Yeshiva University Women's Soccer Team

The Yeshiva University women's soccer team counts on two Sharon residents.

 


Senior midfielder-defender Meira Lemer and senior goaltender Shoshana Taube, both from Sharon, are key players for the Yeshiva University women's soccer team in Yonkers, N.Y.

Lerner had a hat trick in the team's first win of the season, a 4-0 win over Medgar Evers College Oct. 26. The senior had three goals on the season and had a storied college career. Yeshiva was 1-9 on the season after the win.

Taube earned the shutout in net, her first of the season. She had 29 saves on the season, starting seven games and appearing in nine.
