Langley-D'Arcy Duo Leads Sharon Bad Clams to Victory
The Ultimate Disc A-team improves to 3-2.
Senior tri-captain Aaron Langley tied a Sharon High School Ultimate Disc A-team game record with 10 assists -- 7 to senior tri-captain Sam D'Arcy -- as the Bad Clams defeated the host Holliston varsity, 15-9, today.
Langley tied Ben Yudysky's record, set in 2010. Langley also earned 1 D.
D'Arcy finished with 7 goals, 1 assist and 5 D's.
Senior tri-captain Jonah Kurman-Faber had a strong first half but was then injured for most of the second, finishing with 3 goals. Seniors Matt Klayman and Tim Arrott caught the last two goals.
The Sharon B-team, meanwhile, defeated the Holliston JV, 15-4.
Sharon had 4 scores thrown by Alec Shostek, and 3 by Josh Kaplan.
Kaplan, Dan Lee, Andres Ripley and Frank Zhou each caught 2 scores.
Lee and Kyle Ruboy had 5 D's each, and Sam Hanlon added 4.
The B-team (2-2) hosts Franklin at the East Elementary School on Thursday, while the Sharon C-team (1-2) hosts Attleboro at the Ames Street Fields. Both games start at 4 p.m.
The A-team is off until April 23, when it hosts Abington.
