Joyce Testifies For Borderland Trust Fund Bill
His legislation would help preserve and restore the park in Easton and Sharon.
A Borderland State Park Trust Fund to help preserve and restore the Easton and Sharon landmark will be created if state lawmakers pass legislation filed by state Sen. Brian Joyce.
Joyce (D-Milton) recently testified before the Joint Committee on Revenue in support of his bill, his office said in a press release today. His district includes parts of both towns.
Borderland fee, license and permit revenue would go into the fund, which would be spent with the Borderland Advisory Council's advice, Joyce said.
