Heights PTO Chairman Takes Out Papers For Sharon School Board
Nomination papers are due at the Board of Registrars of Voters on March 27.
PTO Chairman Veronica Wiseman has taken out nomination papers for a three-year term on the Sharon School Committee.
Wiseman took out papers Monday, the first day to take out papers for the May 15 . Nomination papers must be returned and certified for a candidate to get on the ballot.
Two three-year terms on the school board are among seven offices on the ballot. Incumbent school committee members Glenn Allen and Mitch Blaustein are up for re-election.

Voters also will elect two members of the Board of Trustees; and one member each of the board of selectmen, the board of assessors and the planning board.
All but the planning board are three-year terms. The planning seat is a five-year term.

The incumbents are: selectmen, Richard Powell; assessors, Richard Gorden; planning board, Susan Price; and library trustees, Robert Levin and Amie Beth Saphire.
The deadline for taking out nomination papers is noon Friday, March 23, Chused said.
Nomination papers must be submitted to the Board of Registrars of Voters for certification of names by 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 27.
