1. Support EPOCH's bake sale

EPOCH Senior Healthcare of Sharon, 259 Norwood St., will host a bake sale and raffle from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to the local Alzheimer’s Association chapter.

2. Join HUGS

Sharon HUGS (Help Us Get Safe), a volunteer organization dedicated to domestic violence awareness education and support, holds its board meetings the third Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Sharon Housing Authority, 18 Hixson Farm Road.  All meetings are open to the public. 

3. Practice your conversational English

An English for Speakers of Other Languages conversation group meets from 10 a.m. to noon in the Sharon Public Library's Cynthia B. Fox Community Room.

4. Attend a book fair

The Cottage Street School's Back to School Night/Book Fair for grades 3 to 5 is at 7 p.m.

5. Visit the East and Heights elementary schools

The East Elementary School holds an open house for grade 2 parents and grade 3 students and parents at 7 p.m. And the Heights Elementary School holds an open house for grades 2 and 3 at 7 p.m.
