1. Remember 9/11

An Interfaith Service of Sacred Remembrance of Sept. 11, 2011 and its Aftermath will be held at 6 p.m. at the Unitarian Church of Sharon,

Join the community choir for rehearsal at 5 p.m.

2. Hike the Beaver Brook Trail

Hike the Beaver Brook Trail with the Sharon Friends of Conservation from 2 to 4 p.m. The group will meet and park at the western (non-station house, outbound) side of the parking lot. Go the southern end. This is the end opposite the bridge.

3. Enjoy a cookout

The Cottage Street School has a Back to School BBQ from 1 to 4 p.m.

4. Visit a music school

The Dedham School of Music holds an open house at 11 a.m.

5. Check out an art show

The Hunakai Studio of Fine Arts, in Foxborough, holds a faculty show at 1 p.m.
