1. Study fiction writing
The Sharon Public Library is offering a summer workshop for adults on fiction writing.
The workshop meets on June 19, 21, 26 and 28 and on July 3, 5 and 10. The sessions will run from 6 to 8 p.m. in the library's Cynthia B. Fox Community Room.

Temple Sinai of Sharon will hold an open house from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 19.
Visitors can meet with professional and lay leaders to learn about the congregation. At 7:30 p.m., Rabbi Joseph Meszler will give a talk on "A Brief Introduction to Reform Judaism."
3. Practice art journaling
The Sharon Public Library hosts an art journaling workshop for ages 7 and up at 1 p.m. in the library's Cynthia B. Fox Community Room. Pre-registration is required.
4. Learn about a Civil War battle
Dr. Gary Hylander discusses "The Civil War Battle After Antietam" with the Sharon Adult Center and Council on Aging's Over 60 Men's Club at 9 a.m. in the Sharon Community Center.
5. Play Ping Pong
The Sharon Adult Center and Council on Aging offers Ping Pong from 10 a.m. to noon at the Sharon Community Center.
