EMS Calls Keep Sharon Firefighters Busy

Here are the highlights of the Sharon Fire log for March 5 to March 11, courtesy of the Sharon Fire Department:

On Sunday, March 5 at 8:04 a.m., EMS responded to 59 Cottage St. and transported one person to the hospital.

At 12:31 p.m., EMS responded to 21 South Pleasant St. Unit 1, and transported one person to the hospital.

On Monday, March 6 at 6:35 p.m., EMS responded to 3 Indian Lane and transported one person to the hospital.

On Tuesday, March 7 at 6:41 p.m., firefighters responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with no injuries at Oakland at South Main streets, and provided first aid and checked for injuries.

At 9:57 p.m., EMS responded to 17 Winslow Road and transported one person to the hospital.

On Wednesday, March 8 at 10:47 a.m., EMS responded to 1 Hixson Farm Road Unit D and transported one person to the hospital.

At 12:32 p.m., firefighters extinguished a contained trash or rubbish fire at 66 South Main St.

At 1:09 p.m., EMS responded to 17 Robin Road and transported one person to the hospital.

At 1:34 p.m., EMS responded to 14 Blair Circle and provided first aid and checked for injuries.

At 8:28 p.m., EMS responded to 68 Pleasant St. and transported one person to the hospital.

On Thursday, March 9 at 3:20 a.m., EMS responded to 8 Roberta Road and transported one person to the hospital.

At 4:13 a.m., EMS responded to 3334 Avalon Drive and provided first aid and checked for injuries.

At 4:43 p.m., firefighters investigated a reported gas leak (natural gas or LPG) at 208 North Main St.

At 5:42 p.m., firefighters investigated a reported motor vehicle accident with no injuries at 92 South Main St.

At 9:37 p.m., firefighters investigated a reported gas leak (natural gas or LPG) at 4232 Avalon Drive.

On Friday, March 10 at 6:12 a.m., EMS responded to 25 Winslow Road and transported one person to the hospital.

At 9:07 a.m., EMS responded to 4203 Avalon Drive and provided basic life support.

At 6:31 p.m., EMS responded to 83 Deerfield Road and provided basic life support.

At 7:48 p.m., EMS responded, mutual aid, to 8 Chestnut St. and provided first aid and checked for injuries.

At 10:33 p.m., firefighters responded, mutual aid, to Interstate 95 North prior to Exit 9 for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries, and provided basic life support.

On Saturday, March 11 at 6:12 a.m., EMS responded to 51 Hixson Farm Road Unit 121 and transported one person to the hospital.
