Mark your calendars for Sept. 17, when Ceramics a la Carteand The Halfway Cafe located in The Village Shoppes, come together for another festive evening of painting your own pottery while enjoying complimentary appetizers provided by the Halfway Cafe.

Cathy Walsh, owner of Ceramics a la Carte wanted to cross market with other businesses in the Village Shoppes. Walsh said, "To do things together made sense, I approached the Halfway Cafe in 2009 and asked if they would be interested in hosting a series of paint your own pottery events."

Tom Cahillane, manager of the Halfway Cafe agreed and said, "Walsh is always thinking outside the box. She helps promote and include other businesses at the Village Shoppes and has brought new people into our shopping center by hosting these events."

Painting pottery is not just for women, men have enjoyed Martini Monday, Merlot Monday and Margarita Monday as much as the women.

Registration in advance is encouraged to ensure that everyone will have a pottery piece to paint. You can also register on line at www.ceramicsalacarte.com.
