Best of Patch Readers' Choice: Best Preschool/Daycare

Tell us about the best preschool/daycare in and around Sharon.

There's Jake's Place, which offers a full-day program from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., a morning program from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a daytime program from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

And the Sharon Cooperative School, which opened in 1976, is NAEYC-accredited and serves children up to age 10.

And the Preschool for Creative Beginnings, which offers such activities as free play at one of the various themed "centers" in the classroom; art projects; and yoga, according to the school's website.

And the Hertz Nursery School, which believes in encouraging a child's positive self image and preparing children to make well-founded decisions and choices through participation in a theme-oriented program that integrates religious and secular components.

And Sharon KinderCare, programs range from Infant to Pre-K and cover math, science, phonics, geography, music, art, and cooking. All curriculum centers around emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development.
