Best Of Patch Readers' Choice: Best Asian Restaurant
Vote in this week's "Best Of" poll and defend your choice in the comments section below. Then check back Friday for the winner.
Where is the best Asian restaurant in the Sharon area?
Alice's Mandarin Taste in downtown Sharon is a local staple.
And there's the Cheng-Du Restaurant in Stoughton, across from Shaw's Supermarket.
And the New Seoul BBQ in Canton.
And Foxborough has three options: the Mai Pearl and the Mandarin Chef.
So where's your favorite Asian restaurant in the Sharon area? Please select your favorite place from our list. If we left off your favorite, add it in the comments section.
We'll leave the poll up all week then close voting at 9 a.m. Friday. At noon that day, we'll share your top local pick. Then be sure to watch the site over the weekend when we tally up the top votes and announce the shop that got the most rave reviews across all of our Massachusetts sites.
Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The editor will determine the winner based on a point system in which poll results and ratings are weighted equally. Only the top 3 finishers will receive points (1st = 10 points; 2nd = 8 points; 3rd = 6 points). In the event of a tie, the editor will determine the winner based on which business has the highest combined number of positive comments and positive reviews on its directory listings. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

This poll must be a joke!
New Seoul BBQ has been closed since Nov. 2011 and the location is vacant.

Why is Sichuan Gourmet not on the list? Hands down the best Chinese in the area!

Accb, I was going to point that out as well. I like both Sichuan and Alice's. They are different and both are excellent.

Uhhhh. Kinda forgot about Coriander Bistro inSharon Post Office square. SUperb Indian & Nepalese food at good prices in elegant surroundings. This poll is deeply if not fatally flawed flawed in this omission,. The Weekend Coriander buffet is life-changing experience. And hatt about Lilac Blossom at Sharon heights? We in the south end of town find no complaint with the Blossom.
Although Alices's Mandarin taste deservedly ranks high, the omissions render this poll utterly useless.

Well Kurt guess folks don't see Indian and Nepalese food as Asian.........Lilac Blossom hasn't existed for half a year anyhow and is now "Sichuan Gourmet" as mentioned above....The poller didn't do their homework on one account....

Kurt, umm . . . Lilac Blossom is no more (regrettably). Sichuan Gourmet is the new restaurant in that location and they are excellent.

Although all of these restaurants are very good, my very favorite asian restaurant is Ginjo in Walpole. It has delicious Chinese, Japanese, divine sushi and is also a hibachi. something for everyone and has some unusual dishes not found anywhere else locally..If you love avocado these dishes are fantastic.

It's a tossup between Mandarin Chef and Mai Pearl. Love both of them.
