5 Things, Sept. 17: School Closed for Rosh Hashanah

No school today because of the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashannah.

 

1. No school today, it's the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah. Happy New Year to all of our friends who celebrate Rosh Hashanah.

2. At 9 a.m. today, there will be yoga at the Sharon Council on the Aging.

3. Open Art Studio will be held at 1 p.m. today sponsored by the Sharon Council on the Aging.

4. The Sharon Department of Recreation is taking applications for their upcoming Mommy, Daddy and Me Kayaking which runs from Sept. 24 to Oct. 15. Class is held at Lake Massapoag from 2:30 - 4:00 pm. Cost: $120.00 For more information on upcoming classes visit the recreation website adeni@townofsharon.org.

5. Registration for Flag Football - Ages 7 - 12. Session begins on 9/21/2012 and runs through 10/19/2012. Location:Grass area at Deborah Sampson, in front of tennis courts. 3:30 - 4:30 pm. Cost: $66.00 Sponsored by the Sharon Department of Recreation.
