5 Things, Oct. 9: CNN Hero Razia Jan to Speak in Sharon

Also today: Seniors are off to the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston.

 

1. Today is the Sharon Senior Center sold out trip to the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston. Visit the website to register for upcoming events.

2. At 9 a.m., the Men's Club has a meeting at the Sharon Senior Center.

3. There will be a School Council meeting in the Sharon High School library from 3:30-5 p.m.

4. A special presentation at Sharon Middle School with CNN Hero Razia Jan who will speak from 7-8 p.m. This event is open to the entire Sharon Community. Jan is the founder of the Zabuli Education Center, a girl's school in Afghanistan. There is a planned communication program in place between the Shaon 7th Graders and the Afghan girls.
