5 Things, Oct. 10: Author Theodore Kohan Appears in Sharon

1. On this day in 1886, the tuxedo dinner jacket made its debut at a ball in Tuxedo Park, New York.
2. At 11:30 a.m. the Sharon Senior Center has a trip to Shaw's Supermarket in Cobbs Corner for some grocery shopping.
3. The Sharon Fire Department open house runs from 3-5 p.m.
4. There is a Zoning Board of Appeals meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meetig Room, second floor, Town Office Building.
5. An Author presentation from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. with Theodore Kohan, a Sharon resident, will be held. Kohan is the author of "Those Who Walk in Darkness" and other books. He will give a talk about some of his works. This program is free and open to the public.
