Five Sharon residents were named to the Dean's List at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, for the Fall 2011 semester:

• Andrea Birnbaum, the daughter of Neil Birnbaum and Ruth Barnert of Sharon, and a senior majoring in anthropology. She attended Sharon High School.
• Marina Rosengren, the daughter of Eric Rosengren and Teruni Chanmugam of Sharon, and a senior majoring in biology. She attended Sharon High School.
• Rebecca Aliber, the daughter of Jonathan and Marilyn Aliber of Sharon, and a junior majoring in sociology. She attended Thayer Academy.
• Deborah Amato, the daughter of Beth Collea of Sharon, and a junior majoring in sociology. She attended Sharon High School.
• Peter Kerr, the son of Susan Kerr of Sharon, Mass., and a junior majoring in economics. He attended Sharon High School.

Students whose grade point averages were 3.61 or higher were named to the Dean's List.
