Thirty-one Cub Scouts from Pack 95 in Sharon visited Higgins Armory in Worcester for an "OverKnight" on Jan. 21 and Jan. 22.
Before dinner, scouts learned how meals were served and shared in medieval times. An interactive presentation on the history of arms and suits of armor followed in which scouts got to try on the equipment. After a guided tour of the museum collection, the scouts had a lesson on heraldry symbols, made their own shields, and called it a night.
Early the next morning, scouts participated in an educational scavenger hunt and a knighting ceremony before heading home.
