Mark Heikkila recently joined Sharon Credit Union as branch manager of the Sharon office. 

In this position, Heikkila will be responsible for branch leadership, business development, branch operations, and mortgage and consumer loan origination. 

Heikkila has over 25 years experience in community banking.  He had an extended career at the Sharon Cooperative Bank until its acquisition by Eastern Bank in 2007, after which he continued to manage the Sharon office as a branch of Eastern Bank. 

Heikkila is a graduate of The New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College.  He resides in Brockton with his wife Nancy.
