Help Downloading eBooks from the Sharon Public Library
Interested in downloading audiobooks or ebooks but not sure where to begin? To get started, go to www.ebooks.ocln.org, click on “Help” at the top of the page and then select “My Help” for instructions customized to your reading or listening device. Alternatively, stop by the library and pick up a pamphlet detailing instructions on how to get started using eReaders for ebooks (e.g. the Kindle) or portable listening devices for audiobooks (e.g., iPod, Zune). The library reference staff can also provide one to one instruction for patrons having difficulty following these instructions. If you have a reading device that is wi-fi accessible (Kindles, some Nooks, some Sony eReaders, iPads, laptops) you can bring the device into the library and we will help you get set up. Appointments are not necessary but we do recommend a call in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot help you set up other devices in the library as these require access to a personal computer (Mac or PC); however, we can potentially help you troubleshoot any difficulties you might be experiencing at home with this process. Just give us a call, 781-784-1578, x. 1422 and we will assist you over the telephone.
