As of May 15, the Holbrook Fire Department will handle dispatch responsibilities for the Sharon Fire Department. While this allows all of the Sharon firefighters to respond to calls, it means that the fire station may be unmanned at times. 

For fire and ambulance emergencies, resident will continue to call 911 or 781-784-2121. The general business line (781-784-1522) remains the same, but will be answered by an automated answering system. Calls for permits and to schedule smoke detector inspections will be returned as soon as possible. 

Residents who stop by the station for permits or to drop off used needles will need to ring the doorbell. If the firefighters are on a call, residents will have to go back to the station another time.
