On August 25th, a group of Cottage Street School Parent-Teacher Organization (CSSPTO) volunteers installed four new pieces of playground equipment at the Cottage Street School playground. The effort was led by Mark Nelson, the PTO Playground Committee Chair, and Steven "Mr. D." Denneno, the Physical Education teacher. The group of about 10 volunteers erected two tetherball poles, a "toss-up" ball basket, and a spinning "Loopy Whoop."
