Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, a premier private bank, investment management and wealth advisory company, announced that it has appointed Sharon resident Michael S. Cohen to Senior Vice President and Director of Operations. Cohen will be responsible for ensuring that all operational components are running smoothly and efficiently across all areas of the bank.

Cohen has more than thirty years of experience in banking. Prior to joining Boston Private Bank & Trust, he served as Vice President of Loan Operations at Blue Hills Bank. Previous to this position, Mr. Cohen served as Vice President of Credit Operations at Rockland Trust. In addition, he was Senior Vice President of Client Services at Citizens Bank and Vice President of Loan Operations at State Street Bank.

Cohen earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting from Bentley University and received a Certificate in Advanced Management from Babson College. He served as a coach for the Pop Warner Football program in Sharon, for more than 10 years.
